1. Talk with an organizer
One-on-one conversations are the heart of organizing. Share your experience at work, ask questions, and learn more about what unionizing could mean for your job and your program.
Whether you’re ready to take on a big role or just want to stay in the loop, there’s a place for you in this campaign. Every conversation and every worker who steps up makes us stronger.

Join a union meeting to hear updates, help set priorities, and connect with coworkers from across Weingart. Check the Events page for upcoming dates.
Become a point person on your shift or in your program. You don’t need to know all the answers—just be willing to listen, share information, and connect people with organizers.
Real experiences with staffing, safety, pay, and workload show why a union is needed. If you’re comfortable, you can share your story to help move others and shape campaign priorities.
There’s plenty to do: flyering, texting coworkers, helping set up meetings, bringing snacks, taking notes, or tracking contact lists. Admin and behind-the-scenes work is just as important as public speaking.
Follow union updates, share information with trusted coworkers, and challenge rumors or misinformation. You can also help maintain this website or provide translation support if you’re multilingual.
Let us know how to reach you and what kind of involvement you’re comfortable with. An organizer will follow up to connect you with next steps.
